UAE's first national rail network 'has the potential to transform the economy'

In the Hajar Mountains between Dubai and Fujairah, engineers are blasting out a new frontier for the United Arab Emirates. Ton by ton, rock is making way for 16 kilometers of tunnel, which will one day see trains barreling throughar it on a journey from coast to coast, and potentially further afield.
